one can get the elite kurzic armor while allied to the luxons correct?

You can craft Kurzick armor while allied to the Luxons or vice versa, so long as you have more faction for the side you want to craft things from (ie, if you want Kurzick armor but are Luxon-allied, just make sure you have more Kurzick points unspent on your account at that moment so the traders/crafters will deal with you).

My guild is Kurzick and I have Luxon armor for my Rit, likewise my brother is always Luxon yet wears Kurzick armor. It's very possible.

People in the kurzick area's like Kurzick Merchant, etc, will only talk to you if you have more kurzick factions then luxon factions, and ofcourse the other way around. So let's say you are in a Luxon area, and want kurzick armor, all you need to do is get more kurzick factions then luxon factions. Best way to do this is to vanquish an area (faster then quests) and get the bounty of the Kurzick priest. Most likely he won't talk to you because you are Luxon, then you say Bribe. Make sure you got at least 150g in your inventory. While vanquishing you get kurzick points and when they are more then your luxon you can craft the armor.

Or just spend your faction, take a bounty, and kill one thing. Tadaaaa.

or you can do fort aspenwood/jade quarry and just fight for the kurz. aspenwood would be eaiser becuase kurz typically win but it's a good way to build up faction and makes it easy to get amber as well
